Roller Support Bearings are designed for guides of rectilinear movement with a large stroke length of the moving units at speeds of up to 10 m/min. Guides with roller bearings have high stiness, low resistance to movement (demonstrated friction coe cient 0.002-0.004), high positioning accuracy in the absence of jumps at low feeds, high durability with intensive work at high speeds. The support structure is a rigid thin guide around which rolling bodies (rollers) are run around in a closed path. Rollers are kept from falling out by clips and springs.
The supports are mounted on the machine assembly with screws and ground. The cleanliness class of the working surfaces of the guides along which the support rollers move is not lower than ν8, hardness HRC 56-62.
